Our Journey
How We Started
Utkarsha School, an initiative by the Mahesh Foundation, embarked on its journey in 2018 with a vision to bring hope, education, and a brighter future to HIV-positive and underprivileged children. The foundation recognized the immense potential hidden within these children and aimed to provide them with equal opportunities for growth and development.
Since 2018, the school has supported over 2000 such children and currently provides free education to 1700+ children. Utkarsha is a dream project of Mahesh Foundation and its journey started with 50 students with limited classrooms and facilities but now it is equipped with all the facilities that these children need. In 2022, the school was registered under Karnataka Education Board.

We believe that education is a powerful tool that can break barriers, eliminate prejudice, and empower individuals to reach their fullest potential. We provide free education, nutritious meals, transportation facilities, healthcare support, and counseling services to ensure that every child receives the care they deserve. We believe that by addressing their basic needs, we can empower them to dream big and break free from the cycle of poverty and discrimination.

Over the years, Utkarsha School has witnessed incredible success stories of children who have overcome adversity and transformed their lives through education. Our students have not only excelled academically but have also gained the confidence and skills necessary to pursue their dreams. Many children who were out of education are now reached secondary education. These success stories serve as a testament to the power of education and the unwavering support provided by Utkarsha Learning Center.
